We had a great time sharing on the Fathers heart at RETS this past weekend. John shared on Friday night covering a lot of foundational stuff relating to our way we view God and our salvation. Really well put together and thought provoking. We are either saved by Grace and nothing else or we are doomed.
Grace is so difficult for us to comprehend from this side of the grave. Take the landowner who paid all the workers the same for their daily labour even though they started at different times of the day and had therefore worked less or more, but got the same reward. Not a easy concept to live by.
Jax and I shared on Saturday morning and then we had a great time of ministry which because of the wounding being dealt with in each individual I felt we should keep gender specific. So men prayed for men, women for women. And everybody got to play
