Last night was the Soccer World Cup draw in my home city of Cape Town South Africa. This got me thinking about the power of contrasts and how much they are needed. The world press has had a lot of negative things to say re the crime element and safety concerns and yet last night showed Cape Town in a totally different light.
How similar the contrast between God and man. Our worlds needs to be invaded by the love and miracle working power of Abba more so now than ever before. Not some theological human level form of religion, but that of contrasts – love in the face of hatred, victory in the face of defeat, going the distance when others have walked away. We live in a world filled with despair, broken dreams and lives, yet He wants to come and give new vision, sight and dreams. Who is willing to get their hands dirty and partner with Abba to show light in darkness,
